girly pink dresser

I don't even know what to say!! I LOVE this dresser so so so much! It was originally made by Basset furniture and is incredibly sturdy and beautiful. I hand painted it this yummy pink color and the distressed it and topped in with an oil based polyurethane. I also kept most of the original hardware but painted it cream to change it up a little bit, added two crystal knobs for character and  wala!..it was done. This is a beautiful antique desk that has been hand painted a minty green and then heavily distressed to let the original wood tone show through. I am in love with anything that looks extremely old and weathered, and this piece fits that description perfectly. Even though it looks old and beat up it is an incredibly well made piece of furniture. It embodies shabby chic design to the nth degree and would be the perfect desk for any room in a country inspired home. This piece measures 30"tall 20"deep and 45"long!

I am not the kind of person who likes to put furniture into one specific category. I believe each piece has an endless list of possible homes and functions. Although this piece may look like a simple six drawer dresser, I can imagine in underneath a t.v. in your family room storing all your dvd"s and electronics, or in your dinning room storing all your fancy dishes. I even love it in your entry way with a mirror over it storing all of the "stuff" that you can"t find a place for. So what I am saying is don't limit your furniture to only one function, let your imagination tell you where else it might work in your home! (now that that is off my chest I feel so much better!:))

This piece took a lot of hard work and hours in the garage. It was so ornate and beautiful I wanted to make sure and play up all of it's unique features. The body was painted cream and then aged with a glaze. The top was brushed with a black wash so that some of the original wood would show through. I kept the original hardware because it was my favorite thing and just spruced it up with some black wash as well. vintage highboy dresser

This is such a beautiful old piece, that I fell in LOVE with the moment I saw it. It definately needed some of my TLC and that is exactly what it got. It was hand painted this minty green and then distressed to let some of the beautiful origional wood show through! I think this piece would be beautiful in a number of places through out your home, girls bedroom, master bedroom or office/scrapbook room (great storage for all that yummy paper) just to name a few. aqua coffee table

I love this aqua blue coffee table! It is so heavy and well made. It has beautiful dental moulding around the top and corbels on each corner. It is hand painted and finished with polyurethane, and as you can see it is beautifully distressed too. This would be the perfect addition to any shabby chic family room or living room. This piece was such a fun piece. The shape is different and turned out darling (if I do say so myself). It has an embellished front with big black and cream knob. It would make the perfect entry way piece or for any of those hard to fill niches in your home. It was hand painted cream and then distressed and glazed. It's back...actually it never left my garage! The person who wanted it fell through at the last minute, so it is all yours again! This desk is 5ft long, 30in wide and 18in deep. It was hand painted black, distressed then topped with polyurethane. It was made by Stanley furniture and is so sturdy. I did however have a chance to find the most darling chair to go with it! The chair is white with a tobacco glaze over it and recovered in a leopard print fabric. This desk and chair would be perfect for a home office or as an add on in any family room or bedroom.
